The workshop will take place at the La Cristalera which is a beautiful self-contained residence in the mountains in Miraflores de la Sierra close to Madrid, Spain.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price for accommodation?

    It is EUR 80,- per day and person including all meals, the welcome drinks, and the BBQ.

Are the coffee breaks included?

    No, but we hope to cover them somehow.

Is WIFI available?

    Yes. WIFI is available everywhere. One of the nets is actually EDUROAM and we encourage people to use it.

Are printing facilities available?

    Yes. But this is the printer of the secretary and can only be used for “emergencies”.

What about photocopiers?

    Photocopies can be made at a price of EUR 0.04 per copy.

What recreational facilities are available?

    The swimming poll may be open weather conditions permitting. There is a basketball court as well as a soccer ground, but they are unfortunately in no good condition. They further have four mountain bicycles available.

What about hiking tours?

    Most of the routes depart from the village where it is also possible to hire a guide. The La Cristalera does not offer guided tours or maps.

Is there mobile phone reception at the La Cristalera?

    There are no problems with Vodafone or Movistar.

Is it possible to pay by credit card?

    Yes.
